Keep London Road Open

Calum Miller and the local Lib Dem team are leading the campaign to keep London Road open.

Calum and the team are keeping the pressure on the Government and East West Rail to commit to keep London Road open for pedestrians, cyclists and car users and provide the funding needed for a proper road crossing.

Now that East West Rail have announced the proposed closure of London Road it is more important than ever we work on our campaign to keep access open.

So many residents have told us how frustrated they are to have been ignored by successive rail companies and governments for nearly two decades.

Local people knew that this problem was coming but no action was taken. If this had been addressed in 2014 when the railway was closed and the station rebuilt, it would have cost far less and been much less disruptive.

Most people in Bicester want to see an underpass for cars and a pedestrian and cycling underpass on a more direct route than the current proposal.

We think this is a very reasonable request of a national project, please add your name below so we can have a strong voice together to make sure our town will not be cut in two.
