Oxford City Local Elections
Oxford City council is the local government for Oxford city providing such services as leisure centres and parking. The Lib Dems currently have nine members sitting members on the council.

Meet our candidates
Andrew Gant for Cutteslowe & Sunnymead
Andrew Gant has lived in Summertown with his family for 25 years. He was first elected to the City Council in 2014, and to the County Council in 2021. He now serves on the County Cabinet. Andrew has been a trustee and strong supporter of local charities and community centres.

Adrian supports Layla Moran calling on the government to step in and stop Thames Water’s unjustified price hike. He also backs Layla’s campaign for a Business Support Fund. Which would provide local businesses with much needed financial support to mitigate the impact of the Botley Rd closure.

Theo Jupp for Summertown
As a young adult, Theo has first-hand knowledge of the damage caused by the pandemic and the Conservative Cost of Living crisis. He is campaigning for better access to mental health services for young people, and for improved transport infrastructure.

Liz Wade for Walton Manor
Liz and her family have lived in North Oxford since 1986, and her three children grew up here. She is an experienced local councillor, and represented St Margaret's (now Summertown) and Wolvercote wards between 2014-22.
Steve Goddard for Wolvercote
Steve Goddard has lived in Wolvercote with his family for almost 25 years, and has been City Councillor for this ward for over ten years. He works as a lecturer in French, and has a deep interest in wildlife and the environment. As a councillor, he has a particular concern for transport issues.
