Olly demands more investment for local GPs

Lib Dem parliamentary candidate Olly Glover is campaigning for more investment in GP provision in our area. There are real concerns about how stretched our local NHS is, with many GPs closing their lists to new patients.

The Liberal Democrats have also announced an NHS rescue plan to improve our local health services. The Lib Dem plan includes a fair pay deal for NHS staff, funds to recruit more GPs, and giving pharmacists more powers to prescribe medicines. They also want extra investment in social care, to ease the pressure on hospital waiting times.

Olly Glover said: “The failure of the Conservatives to get a grip on this crisis is unforgivable. We need a proper plan to bring the NHS back from the brink.”
